Fighting Racism, Antisemitism and Intolerance through Sports

Larry Whigham – Former NFL Player

April 30, 2025 by Max Admin

Larry Whigham carved out a standout nine-year NFL career as a special teams ace. After playing college football at Pearl River Community College and the University of Louisiana at Monroe, he was drafted by the Seahawks in 1994 but made his mark with the New England Patriots and later the Chicago Bears.

Whigham earned two Pro Bowl selections (1997, 2001) and two First-team All-Pro honors for his special teams performance.

Whigham finished his career with 184 tackles, 5 sacks, and 4 interceptions across 136 games. He now lives in Houston with his wife, Kenyatta.
