Rick Barry, Former NBA Player Among Top 50 Greatest Players

October 7, 2025 by Max Admin

We are thrilled to welcome Rick Barry to the Project Max Advisory Board. A true basketball legend, Rick Barry is one of the most accomplished and versatile players in the history of the game. Born in 1944 in New Jersey, he became the only player ever to lead the NCAA, ABA, and NBA in scoring, earning recognition as one of the 50 Greatest Players in NBA History and a member of the NBA 75th Anniversary Team. Known for his iconic underhand free-throw style and fierce competitiveness, Barry’s career highlights include an NBA Championship and Finals MVP in 1975, induction into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, and a lifelong commitment to excellence. His leadership, drive, and innovative mindset make him an invaluable addition to the Project Max team.
