Sagi Muki Joins Project Max Athlete Advisory Board
Project Max proudly welcomes Israeli Olympic judoka and 2019 World Champion Sagi Muki to its Athlete Advisory Board.
Muki, one of Israel’s most celebrated athletes, is known not only for his achievements on the mat — including gold at the 2019 Judo World Championships, two European titles, and an Olympic bronze in the 2020 Tokyo mixed team event — but also for his courage in using his voice to promote peace, unity, and respect across borders.
Muki has represented Israel with pride and resilience, embodying the values of sportsmanship and perseverance. His enduring friendship with Iranian judoka Saeid Mollaei, formed despite political barriers, became a global symbol of hope and mutual respect.
Now, as part of the Project Max Athlete Advisory Board, Muki joins other world-class athletes committed to fighting antisemitism, racism, and hate through sports. Together, they aim to inspire a generation that believes in strength, fairness, and unity.
