Dubbed by Sports Illustrated as the “Jewish Jordan”, Tamir is a former American-Israeli professional basketball player. After being the 1st freshman to start at Towson University in eleven seasons, Tamir moved on to Maccabi Tel Aviv and additional teams in Israel. As a gifted Jewish athlete Tamir has balanced sports and religion since the beginning of his career.
